🚀 Case Study: Transforming Speech to Text with "Transcription AI" 🎙️📝

Hey Guys! Excited to share the journey of designing an interactive mobile application called "SpeechSwift" – a game-changer in converting spoken words into text.✨

Goal:

The goal was to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for individuals needing quick and accurate transcriptions from audio files. The challenge lay in designing an intuitive interface that caters to both simplicity and functionality.

Requirements:

1. Upload Screen: The user should be able to enter the name of the file they are uploading and have a clear area where they can upload their files.

2. Processing Stage: Consider how you will inform the user about the progress of the transcription process.

3. Transcript Display Screen: After the file has been transcribed, how the user should interact with the transcript. How is the transcribed text presented and what functionality they might benefit from?

Solution:

User Flow Overview:

At the outset, following an initial brainstorming session, I developed a user flow journey to comprehensively map out the number of screens required to facilitate the entire transcription process. This involved delineating the specific actions users should take at each stage to progress toward the ultimate goal. Presented below is the user flow journey diagram outlining the key stages and interactions within the project.

Wireframing

Following the determination of the screen count and their respective purposes, I crafted wireframes that embody a careful exploration and visualization of the user interface. These wireframes serve as a detailed roadmap, guaranteeing a smooth transition from audio to text through a thoughtfully designed user experience.

📲 Mobile-Friendly Interface:

Upon completing the intricate blueprints for each screen, I transitioned into the realm of crafting an interactive and seamlessly responsive mobile UI. The meticulous process involved not only perfecting the app's logo but also curating a palette of vibrant and lively colors to infuse it with an irresistibly attractive aesthetic.

Micro-interactions:

I've elevated the user experience with thoughtful micro-interactions. These subtle animations and responsive elements throughout the interface aim to guide and delight users, enhancing the overall journey within the 'Transcription AI' platform.
