Mexican Skulls

This is a bit of an old project but one I love.

It started with a conversation about Dia de los Muertos and how to make a simplified skull canvas in Illustrator. After making the canvas skull, I got carried away and this was the end result.

All the illustration work was done playfully and experimentally, straight in Adobe Illustrator and I limited the number of designs to two to avoid spreading myself too thinly.

The t-shirts were also printed for a friendly tag rugby match, where each side used a different design.
