Mortgage web application surpasses traditional loan processing with advanced technology that caters to every stage of the mortgage journey, offering a suite of products for all stakeholders involved, from borrowers to lenders.
Objectives:
Design a user-centric mortgage system with streamlined workflows for borrowers, lenders, processors, and officers. Ensure accessibility, security, and consistent branding. Collaborate effectively with the development team and design responsively for various devices. Implement user training, feedback mechanisms, and scalability for ongoing improvement and future growth.
Responsibilities:
In my role, I delivered clear and user-friendly interface patterns, ensuring visual balance and ease of interaction with product elements. This encompassed facilitating efficient communication with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders.
Our collaborative workflow embraced the Lean UX cycle methodology:
Conducting in-depth interviews to gather insights and expectations.
Discovery and wireframe iterations.
Prototyping for a range of features.
Conducting user testing sessions for selected flows.
Delivering detailed design specifications for the design system components.
