Albert Heijn app - What's for dinner
This is the new Albert Heijn app. Over a period of six months, I had the privilege of collaborating on the redesign, which prominently features the new "What's for Dinner - Wat eten we vandaag" section. The digital version of their Allerhande magazine.
As a freelance Digital Product Designer, I took on the responsibility of crafting the UX and UI, incorporating dynamic animations, and conducting comprehensive user testing to refine the user experience. I had the pleasure to work together with the M2Mobi team.
In the "What's for Dinner" section of the app, you can effortlessly discover food inspiration derived from Instagram stories. Explore recipes through engaging videos and written content, and seamlessly add the ingredients directly to your basket for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience.
The end result is a final product embraced by a user base exceeding one million in the Netherlands. Notably, the app received extensive promotion through national television and newspapers.
