'Eat Your Greens' poster design

Poster design inspired by asparagus. Could work as a cookbook cover? Shapes in Illustrator, textures and typography in Photoshop. Typeface is Matrix II (by Zuzana Licko), available on Adobe Fonts. Sharp serifs to match the sharp shadowy areas, and the pink things on the asparagus. (What are those called?)
