Mascot Design — Rocking Chair Pig
I designed the IP image "Rocking Chair Pig" for Jane, an American client of Thai origin. It was a very healing and happy collaboration~
The background of this project is very memorable. Jane’s mother was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and moved to the United States in the 1970s. She has been making Thai hot sauce since she moved there. Whenever she and her family miss home, they will pour the hot sauce on Hainanese chicken. over meals to relieve homesickness.
10 years ago, Jane's mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, which slowly erased her memory over a period of time. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease and one day in the future, she will lose all her memory.
Jane's mother's zodiac sign is pig, so Jane wanted to commemorate her with the image of a pig relaxing happily on a rocking chair to preserve the most precious memories.

这次项目的背景很有纪念意义，Jane的母亲出生于泰国曼谷，70年代移居美国，移居后一直在制作泰国辣酱，每当她和她的家人们想家时，都会把辣酱淋在海南鸡饭上，以缓解思乡之情。
10年前，Jane的母亲被诊断出老年痴呆症，它会在一段时间内慢慢抹去她的记忆。不幸的是，这种病无法治愈，未来的某一天，她将失去所有的记忆。
Jane母亲的生肖是猪，因此Jane想用一只猪在摇椅上快乐地放松的形象来纪念她，保留最珍贵的回忆。
