Mobile app for people who struggle with stuttering
In the tapestry of our daily interactions, the voices of people who stutter often remain unheard. These individuals may lead lives tinged with solitude, not by choice, but because the very act of speaking—a fundamental human connection—can be a source of profound anxiety and avoidance.
Yet, it is crucial for them to engage in the very act they fear, to speak and be heard. Recognizing this silent struggle, I'd like to create a mobile application tailored to their needs. This app will provide a sanctuary for finding understanding peers and offer an AI companion.
This digital ally will patiently listen, engage, and allow users to practice everyday conversations without fear of judgment or shame, from ordering coffee to delivering a presentation at work.
Extensive research has informed the design of this application, ensuring it meets the real needs of those it serves. As I present the start screen, I do so knowing that much work is ahead.
