Who is Mechho Bhoot aka Fish Ghost

Bhoot Chaturdashi, aka, our Indian Halloween is said to be the day of the dead for the Bengalis when the gateway between the dead and the living opens. While there are many stories revolving around this day, this is definitely a day of celebration!

Mechho Bhoot (written in Bengali script in the illustration) is one of the many such ghosts who could come visit you on this day. Well, you need not worry much, as these spirits are fish lovers (hence the name - mechho means fish) and would seemingly do anything to eat some!😅
