Project Details

Client Goal

The aim of the Trollo project was to design an engaging and informative onboarding experience for a travel mobile app. Trollo is envisioned as a comprehensive travel planning tool similar to Skyscanner and Booking.com, enabling users to choose destinations, book flights and hotels, and plan their itineraries with ease. The client wanted the onboarding screens to clearly communicate the app’s primary functions while offering a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that encourages new users to explore the app’s features.

My Contribution

As the principal designer for the Trollo project, my contributions included:

1. Concept Development: I collaborated with the client to understand their vision and objectives, and developed the overall concept for the onboarding experience, ensuring it aligned with the app’s goals and target audience.

2. User Interface (UI) Design: I created a series of visually striking and cohesive onboarding screens that guide new users through the app’s key functionalities. This included designing unique illustrations and selecting a color palette that reflects a modern, travel-friendly aesthetic.

3. User Experience (UX) Design: I focused on crafting an intuitive user journey from the moment users open the app. This involved designing seamless transitions between screens, ensuring that the onboarding process is smooth and informative without overwhelming the user.

4. Responsive Design: I ensured the onboarding screens are fully optimized for various mobile devices, providing a consistent experience regardless of screen size or resolution.

Project Success

The Trollo project was a conceptual triumph, showcasing my ability to design engaging and effective onboarding experiences for mobile applications. The onboarding screens received positive feedback for their clarity, visual appeal, and effectiveness in conveying the app’s features. Although the project remains a conceptual design, it serves as a testament to my skills in creating user-centered, aesthetically pleasing digital solutions that can enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
