Diabolical! Character Logo

I'm currently collaborating on a board game called, Diabolical!

There are 6 villains in Diabolical!, each with a logo that reflects their abilities.
This is Dr. McHavok's logo. He is a Scottish mad scientist, specializing in altering the DNA of his enemies.

I wanted to combine both of those aspects into his logo, which led me to a Celtic Knot and a stylized DNA strand.
