Pushing the boundaries of Web3 social media

Last year and a half I had the privilege to help a great team of Discover to revamp their web social network with a focus on responsiveness and new web3 features that allow completely new experiences outside of traditional social networks that we are used to today.

My role

Over the course of the project, my primary responsibility was to lead the redesign efforts of a social network's web application. As the inaugural designer in the company, I worked closely with the founders and development team to establish a design-first approach. This encompassed a complete overhaul of the web application and a thorough redefinition of the brand's visual identity. Noteworthy features were introduced to cater to a non-tech-savvy audience in the web3 landscape. A critical milestone was developing a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.
