Daily UI Challenge #006 - 'My profile' screen

Here's a 'My profile' screen reveal animation on an app UI I have worked on. The goal is to include just enough animation for the cool factor without impeding practicality. You don't want a recurrent screen to take 2 seconds to load.

I like how the drop-down arrow symbol morphs into a tab-closing cross symbol. You don't notice it, and that's supposed to be this way. In UI, the best motion is felt rather than seen.

The top-to-bottom movement, as well as the yellow tab's motion overshoot, naturally draws the user's eye to the bottom of the screen to notice that there is more content to discover by opening that tab."
