This is what the original sketch looked like ( the pencil version has not been preserved ). Everything was invented directly during the process, sometimes I had to stop and think about what the next doodle should look like

I added some shadows, it's not anatomically correct shadows, it's just a feature of my style. A slight addition of gray color gives volume and softness to my guys :)
