Kelly Ellis is a professional TV and film Costume Designer from Wales who works with the BBC and S4C. Kelly has worked on shows including Casualty, The 1900 Island, and Pobol Y Cwm.
Goal
Kelly wanted a website that was clean, easy to manage, and looked editorial. She wanted a website to display her portfolio and that she is an established professional costume designer.
Our solution
We chose to build the Kelly Ellis Costume Design website on Squarespace due to its customisable nature and ease of updating. This allows Kelly to easily update the website whenever she wants to add new TV shows and film projects.
We used a large stylish font for headings throughout and a simple black and white monochromatic colour palette to give it an editorial, fashionable feel.
For the resume page, we included anchor text links to make it quicker for people to search Kelly’s CV. Each of the projects has separate pages to organise photos and provide more information about the film or TV show. On the homepage is scrolling text with news of upcoming projects or projects currently being worked on. We included a contact form so companies can enquire through the website.
