The series is born — an arguing couple in the middle of an urban center.

Emotions like fire. Hearts, dry kindling.

Resolution always soon to follow.

For a moment, we regret and remember the word romance.

Passion wins.

The figures are our mirror.

Surroundings, color, brush stroke, detail — these are context — a manifestations of the internal world.

The storyline shifts to reality.

An alternate and all too familiar conclusion.

Those last moments of an embrace before making the most difficult of decisions.

That unfathomable truth — love is most certainly, unfortunately, not, always enough.

Mental clarity skips a beat.

New emotions take over & we're pushed towards increasing abstraction mimicking feeling.

Perhaps tears obscure your view — but heartbreak is more than tears and vision.

It is the world melting. Nothing less.

Lost again.
