I conducted user research to understand the needs and preferences of potential users of the Jongara restaurant app. Initially, I assumed that the primary issue was the lack of an app for customers outside the city to place orders, leading to frequent phone line congestion. However, after conducting research, I discovered that it wasn't just about having an app but ensuring it was easy to use and efficient for customers to complete core actions, such as selecting items, placing orders, and navigating within the app. Users emphasized the importance of a user-friendly interface, clear menu options, and a smooth ordering process. This research helped us revise our assumptions and prioritize user experience design to make the Jongara app accessible and convenient for customers both in and outside the city.
