2ZKW

2ZKW is a brand from a former work colleague and belongs to Polywerk, a pottery company from Hanau, Germany. The company makes its decorative objects entirely in-house, from 3D modeling to 3D printing or manual molding from clay, concrete, metal and some other building materials, as well as product photography and sales.

The sub-brand 2ZKW adds sleek, modern synthetic objects such as flower pots, vases and ceiling lamps, which are visually strongly reminiscent of fine wood. The name stands for "Zwei Zimmer Küche Werkstatt" which means "two room kitchen workshop" in English, as the business originally started with two designers in their own apartment and a small workshop.

The logo itself was created in 2020 in firm collaboration with Polywerk. The ring around the logo mark represents the round shapes that all 2ZKW creations have, while the rotated text represents the visual exclusivity.
