Family Riding a Giant Pikachu Through the Forest (2023)

I animated this for my cousin and his wife in celebration of their newly born twins. He requested a long time ago for a drawing of him "riding a giant Pikachu running through the forest."

So it's time I delivered, but with something even better: an animation!

I was trying my hand at 2D puppet rigging to see if I would like it or not. I realized the style isn't for me. It doesn't feel as organic and stylized like I am used to.

Nonetheless this was a learning experience and kind of a milestone in my own animation experience.

Again, all assets were made by me using Clip Studio Paint and Toon Boom Harmony.
