Takealot Ultimate Checkout - MrD

Takealot.com, the largest online retailer in Africa, their sister Superbalist.com, one of the largest online fashion and home stores, and MrD takeout and grocery delivery, are celebrating their “Ultimate Checkout” sale. 3 Days of crazy deals 2nd to Black Friday.

Our friends over at The Cavalry creative agency reached out to us to design and create a 25 second animated spot featuring “The Ultimate Checkout”.

Together with the Cavalry we created a cute story about a girl and her corgi recieving their deals, from Tech and Appliances, to fashion and home, to food and groceries. Our brief was to feature each brand in a different room in the house. We conceptualized a contained environment that changes rooms as the character moves through the house.
