Gusto — Time Kiosk (Tablet) III

Sharing another design concept I put together for Gusto’s time clock kiosk. Time Kiosk is a web app accessed from a device’s browser, such as a tablet or laptop.

Clocking in

Employees must tap on the Clock in button to start tracking their time for the day. Once clocked in, the kiosk will automatically return back to the welcome screen for the next person to clock in or out.

Note: The option for employees to request time adjustments or edit their hours directly in the kiosk, ended up outside the scope of the project. Taking breaks for employees was made available if meals and rest breaks policies was set up by a company admin.

Time Kiosk for time tracking

With Gusto's Time Kiosk feature, admins can turn any company device that's connected to the internet into a central station for employees to clock in and out, track their time, and take breaks.

For an in-depth look and to truly appreciate the nuances of the Gusto Time Kiosk feature, I invite you to watch a walkthrough video at https://gusto.com/product/time-tools/kiosk. Many of the ideas and design concepts I poured into this project can be seen there. Multiple iterations went into refining the Gusto Time Kiosk feature, a process that focused on iterative improvement, brand alignment, testing, and constant user feedback to ensure the final product met the highest standards of usability and security.

If this work resonates with you, a 'Like' goes a long way to spread the good vibes!
