WATERWORKS
The concept for this brand design project was to base a fictional exhibition on an existing painting or sculpture. I chose Duchamp's Fountain for this, and decided to make the exhibition about controversial works in history. I named it "WATERWORKS" to get at both the nature of the sculpture used to advertise the exhibition and the tear shedding that occurred over these works.
I wanted to represent the boundaries these artworks broke, so I placed these falling apart squares on the poster. I followed the sort of dadaist mindset Fountain itself was made with and put them around with no rhyme or reason.
Thanks for checking out my project! I'm open for work and I'm especially looking for work in Ireland!
