Eat At Dads – Illustrated Twitch Emotes

Overview.

Eat at Dads is a Twitch live stream channel that shows its host Lou planning, prepping, and cooking weeknight dinners for his family. Their community is comprised of home cooking / food enthusiasts, allies, and people with small families who want to learn and share their personal cooking stories.

Project.

The goal of this project was to create 25 bespoke Twitch emotes that captured the vibrancy, flavor, and authenticity of the food that Lou creates. The heart of Eat At Dad’s community is also the viewers themselves, so Lou wanted to make sure we highlighted many of the themes, inside jokes, and phrases used often during his streams. This resulted in a new library of emotes that are bold, colorful, and fun to use when interacting directly with Lou during his stream.
