I went to school in Troy, NY. it's an old industrial city in upstate new york. the former shirt collar capital of the world and home of Uncle Sam (he's a real person, go figure). while it may be considered a wore down city, i saw a rugged city with a lot of charm.

unaware at the time, I was watching old mike tyson fights being run through on ESPN. After he knocked one guy out in a matter of minutes, they interview Tyson and said he was living in Troy at the time. Well little did I know, when Mike was coming up, he fought a bunch of his fight at my school's hockey rink. I know he's not from Troy originally, but I can't help but think part of young iron mike was molded in troy.
