Bruno's Best Friend

As a student in RMIT's UI certification course, I embraced the opportunity to tackle an intriguing design challenge—creating a user interface inspired by local dog walking platforms. The assignment allowed me to explore and analyze the UI/UX elements that make renowned platforms like Airbnb and Uber so user-friendly and effective.

Research & Conceptualisation

I kicked off the project by delving into industry trends and gathering valuable insights that would guide my design process. This was crucial for understanding user needs, expectations, and the general landscape of dog-walking applications.

Tools & Techniques

For the design phase, I utilized a combination of Figma for conceptualization and Photoshop for image polishing. Leveraging these tools, I crafted each element, from buttons to navigation menus, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Google Material Design

I integrated Google Material Design elements.

From User Flows to High-Fidelity Prototypes

Over the course of six weeks, my design challenge took me from the initial research phase to the creation of comprehensive user flows, culminating in a high-fidelity prototype. Each step was carefully considered to ensure alignment with user experience design principles, resulting in an interface that's visually appealing and supremely functional.
