The Sea Within

Like endless teardrops I come and go Rippling the surface, reflecting a show The sea pulls me in, so deep and true I’m drawn by the power, nothing I can do The salt I can feel, and the sand on my toes Terrifying creatures, a calm before the storm Oh, the dance of the waves, a mesmerizing sight, As they crash and swirl, sparkling in the light, With each gentle caress, they kiss the shore, Leaving footprints of wonder, forevermore, At times it’s a race, in other moments still The deep, silent depths, a booming echo fills The forces protect us, they test our might The depths can surprise, such beauty and fright.
