WORDS 05 (MUZZLED-SELF)

“I’m silent. Too silent. I’m just standing here but I’m not here. Whatever I’m facing I’d rather be elsewhere. There. Not here.

Where? Just not here.

I often wonder if I’m born without mouth.

My voice is behind sealed lips. No one hears it. The whisper that escape are the failed attempts of communication. Failing, is all I ever seem to do in this “mode”. Or be. I feel like one. I’m telling myself I am one.

I feel dragged about. Hung up and pinned. Dissected to critique. I know what I’m doing wrong, I am constantly reminded of this myself, let alone everyone else.

I’m pulled up too often. The prey to a cyclical vulture of miss-steps. I don’t want to continue to be honest.

I hate how it is. The world. Everything can be better. Everyone…”
