New Wave NFT App
After a 4-week "Figma Fundamentals" course, I designed a new NFT application called New Wave. Yes it's a new way of NFT world. This application was prepared after a 3-week research and development process.
Project Brief
My goal was for the application to be simple, straightforward, and user-friendly. In the world of NFTs, the process revolves around bidding, speed, and design focus. Thus, the application was designed to be as minimalistic and uncomplicated as possible.
It highlights artists' visuals prominently, allowing users to instantly place bids and participate in bidding processes without wasting time.
Client
The client is "NewWave" they need a new way for their NFT app.
Looking for a new NFT application where designers' visuals take the forefront.
They aim to bring a fresh perspective to the world of NFTs.
The goal is to reach an audience intrigued by the NFT's but seeking to break free from complexity.
Scope
Developing a brand, lock a visual aesthetic and scale the design on 3 different app screens based on wireframes and flow that is provided from the client.
Create a UI Library of the final Design elements and a functional prototype.
I research minimal and aesthetic designs and created moodboard. Idea is: keep simplicity.
During the visual exploration phase, I prioritized simplicity into the process, creating three different designs. In these designs, my aim was to ensure that users can engage with the application without getting tired and spending excessive time. The colors used in these designs were crafted in line with the client's brand style guide.
I decided on Version 2 because simplicity was the key focus. By blending this with the designs on my mood board, I began crafting a new application design.
