Google Account Popup Redesign

Gmail is the most used email provider in the world with many users operating a combination of personal, professional, and business accounts. A simple account management popup with limited clickthrough is necessary for improving the overall user experience.

To sign out of all accounts, and then sign back in to 1 account requires 4 clicks and navigating through 4 separate screens.

The experience disrupts users’ workflow and creates frustration by forcing users to sign out of all their accounts simultaneously when they don’t want to.

Below is a prototype showing individual account sign out as a state change within the account popup.
