Swiss Broadsides

I just started my first project for Typography II at Loyola today. The project is to design posters for a news headline you pick from some news source. We are currently studying Swiss or International style design and type.

For this project we are given a strict set of rules/parameters, e.g., a specific grid we must use, three typefaces to choose from, a limit of two colors and a set poster size. Within these parameters, we need to design 8 variations in two days. These are my first three.
