Sec-t brand identity

SEC-T is an affordable, non-profit, English speaking, two days, single track information security/hacking conference taking place in late summer every year in Stockholm, Sweden.

When I started working with Sec-t in 2022 they used to have different graphics each year. There were some consistent themes in the colour scheme but other than that there was not much to go on for a new designer. I was told they used to do different logotypes for each year but they also had one logotype for the overall brand.

2022 I did a cyberpunk theme that was very popular with our visitors. So when creating a more lasting identity I wanted to build on that, but make it more useful in the long run. I've redesigned the logotype as the old one was too detailed to work in small sizes. I've brought back the red colour scheme used in previous years and selected the font Futura to be used in all channels as it works well in both large and small sizes, online and in print.
