Alaska Gear Lab

Brand design for high-performance outdoor gear built and proven in Alaska.

The client envisioned a “ruggedly-refined” visual identity that resonates with ambitious adventures looking for locally-made, eco-friendly outdoor goods.

I created a mascot logo of a bear carrying the state’s flag. The typography consists of a customized bold display, hand-drawn sans serif, and script fonts.

For the colors, we went with a primary palette of forest green and slate gray to reflect Alaska's captivating nature.

Once the main logo was done we worked on developing a set of logo variations, as well as print and digital collateral to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence across various platforms.
