Creative concept, illustration and label design for FreakyFISH, a double IPA by Telluride Brewing Company

My label design features hand drawn illustration work combined with a vector fish scale pattern to complete the look and vibe of the beer. A big beer with big flavors needs a dynamite can design. Gander the full case study & label design here!

This double dry hop brew comes in at a tasty 8.5% ABV. It all begins with creative exploration, pen and ink drawing and a wicked cool label layout that includes custom type. Hand lettering the beer’s name gives this label a whole new level of custom design.

FreakyFISH (n.)

- a very unusual and unexpected wild animal with extreme physical abnormalities due to increased exposure to yeast and hops. Origin: typically found in the Rocky Mountains and in the tap room of Telluride Brewing Company, Colorado.
