The latest listing to hit the Musings From Humans shop.

This planner bundle was inspired by Booktok and Bookstagram, and the communities of readers I've discovered online who make finding new books so easy and fun. I wanted the listing photos for this to feel like a newspaper or book with that soft, tactile paper texture and classic typefaces that don't strain the eye too much. The photos all have a bit of noise to them to add to the printed quality. These might be some of my favorite designs for the Etsy shop so far, right behind Sailor Moon (because how can you beat Sailor Moon).

I have to admit, I hit a little bit of a lull in posting new designs to Etsy. It's such a fast moving marketplace where once a subject is trending, everyone else has already posted something and its a matter of sticking out amongst 50,000 other listings. It's daunting and not always rewarding but it does help me learn about SEO and keywords which as a print-focused designer I used to shy away from but in reality is probably something I should sharpen up on. Regardless, I still enjoy having a project where I can design things I like and get direct feedback to see if others like them too.
