Always Choose Self-Love Lettering T-Shirt Print
This commission I got through Instagram, like many others.
The idea was to write a quote "Always Choose Self-Love" in a round shape. These are words of encouragement and a little reminder that self-love is not the same as selfishness. And to choose it means to be kinder to yourself - and therefore to people, to make better not only yourself, but also the world around you.
This print was made entirely in Adobe Illustrator. Colours were selected just up to the client's liking.
1. I wrote letters themselves with blob brush, in quite simple lines.
2. I edited the contours of the lines with a pencil and a smooth tool to get these fun puffy retro shapes.
3. I made offset path for shadows under the letters and added a gradient mesh in the center of the circle.
4. With the same blob brush, I put highlights on the letters which gave them volume and gloss.
