Pleasant Hill Pixels

I took the inspiration photo for this piece years ago atop a ridge at Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, Kentucky. It was such a beautiful day. I wanted to try a pixel landscape and I thought this would be a good place to start. The only change I made was to the clouds. I needed something more dynamic than I had in the photo.

I placed each square or group of them by hand in Illustrator, making up what would be 360x360. The colors are limited to 8.
