Mobile application for the university dormitory

Introduction.

This project started with thorough research and communication with students and young people living in dorms and apartments. In an effort to understand their needs and desires, I created an app that combines ease of use and multifunctionality.

Understanding the Needs

The first thing I did was a thorough research and survey of users. Based on the information I gathered, I created two personas. The first one is a person looking for a convenient way to manage access to the dorm and leave repair requests for their room. The second one is an active student who is interested in university events and news and wants to be always up to date with the events around the dormitory.

Maximum Simplicity and Convenience

The main goal was to create an interface that would be as simple and clear as possible for any user. Regardless of the level of technological literacy, everyone could easily use the application.

Application functionality

The application has several key features that meet the needs of individuals. The electronic ticket allows you to control access to the dormitory and leave requests for room repairs. The events tab provides information about upcoming events and university news. It is also possible to pay for accommodation through the app or using bank details.

Result.

The result of this project is an app that combines convenience and integration. Users can easily manage their accommodation and keep up to date with all the events and news around the dormitory.

Conclusion.

This app doesn't just make dorm life easier, it creates a community and connects users around common needs and interests. This design empowers everyone to enjoy the most comfortable and informed dorm life possible.
