Line Art Poetry Series (Part VIII)

Self Content_

There’s beauty in enjoying one’s own company,

minds are free and devoid of custody,

there’s the freedom to move and speak my mind

I can be someone of just my kind.

Now, that beauty has faded

people came in and invaded,

I allowed them in and became submissive,

just got used to it, and became obsessive.

I search for hearts to connect

and minds where I can reflect-

my thoughts and pour out my heart;

search for jars where I can fall apart.

This balloon was free and up in the air,

it enjoyed its own company everywhere,

but now it’s stuck in a self-made chamber

waiting for someone who’ll be my feeling’s attender.

Stop for a While_

You've said enough, start working

you've thought too much, start living

you see too much, well, start observing

you hear a lot, well, start listening.

You're always in your move

you've been trapped deep in the groove,

at times reach out to yourself,

stop for a while and attend yourself.

Holding On_

And then comes a turn in life

when you think it’s not nice,

your thought strings get entangled

which leaves you perplexed and dismantled.
