Juxtaposed Study //
Radiation - c. Fall 2021
Medium: Book Clippings / Digital
About this piece...
Prompt: First, juxtapose 2 simple black and white line drawings. Then, choose 1 old New York Times classified and create a visually interesting composition out of the text. Finally, pair both together.
Created in: ART.1010 Studio Processes at University of Tennessee - Chattanooga.
My notes: This project was a fun way to get students to think about juxtaposing images and how it can be a powerful tool. I wanted to show that while we say is that death is inevitable, we worry about it so much. We forget to remember how beautiful life is and how lucky we are to experience it.
