IT Service Desk - Dashboard & Service Management

I completed some UI self-studies and decided to put my skills to the test by creating a dashboard and task management tool that I wished I had when I worked in desktop support.

See mobile app designs for some of the pages here! https://dribbble.com/shots/22552214-Responsive-Datatables-Dashboard

Dashboard

At the start of my day, having access to this information at a glance would have helped me organize my thoughts and be more productive. Additionally, I think it’s very important to show appreciation, which is why I added a horizontal scrolling kudos section that features positive feedback from both customers and coworkers. 😊

Ticket Management

This screen is all about information! Being able to quickly see all tickets assigned to each technician & seeing which tickets are getting stale, all in a convenient overview.

Inventory Management

This is probably my favorite screen. So much beautiful info in an easily digestible format! All orders in a ticket format would be listed front and center to ensure customer requests are the top priority. Being able to see buildings that have the most devices up for audit would make for quick delegation!

Projects Dashboard

When I worked in desktop support, there were quite a few projects that were going on at any given time, but there wasn't a good way to keep track of the work. I wanted to create a tool within the service desk manager that would help track projects via Tasks, using the familiar ticket format. Tasks can be tied to projects & milestones, then assigned like normal tickets so that they'll show up on a technician's dashboard. This would help the technician organize and prioritize their work more effectively!

Projects - Selected View

This is an idea of how a project would look after being selected to see more details. From here, a manager could add more members, tasks, milestones, or status updates to the project. They can also quickly view the status of various tasks in the project.

That's all for now. Thanks for taking the time to read this and make it to the end!
