AS MONACO FC logo redesign

AS Monaco are a Ligue 1 club in the French top flight. Although not part of France the team were invited to join the French National league in the 1920s as Monaco is a micro state and governs itself.

The last time Monaco reached a European final was 2004 vs Jose Mourinho’s FC Porto. In recent times the club has had a hand in developing some of French footballs greatest talents, namely Kylian Mbappé. I developed the redesign of Monaco’s emblem to bring more character and purpose to the mark without changing it completely.

The main features of the logo are the arched columns which are a focal point of the Stade Louis II, the home stadium of AS Monaco Football club. Another feature I decided to redevelop was the crown. The logo can be broken up into smaller parts for various applications.
