Posters for the conference about Late Antique Armenia
Poster for a conference and key note lecture on medieval Armenian architecture held at Masaryk University, Faculty of Arts, Brno in February 2022.
The visual concept for the keynote lecture poster reflects the theme of overlapping knowledge—the interweaving of old and new insights that contribute to the reconstruction of Armenia’s visual and cultural history. The intricate, interlacing lines forming the architectural structure symbolize both the layering of historical understanding and the fragile, irreversible loss of these monuments due to political conflicts.
For the conference poster, I extended this idea by visually echoing the themes of disappearance and reconstruction. The design not only acknowledges the destruction of cultural heritage but also highlights the role of scholarly research in preserving its memory and significance.
Second poster for the conference with the program.
