Poster for the conference: Rome in a Global World

Rome in a Global World was an art historical conference exploring visual cultures during the Carolingian transformation. Hosted at Masaryk University, Faculty of Arts in Brno in October 2019.

Inspired by this theme, I developed a visual concept that reflects the fluidity of cultural exchange. The design avoids rigid boundaries, instead using intersecting lines and open forms to represent the dynamic movement of artistic traditions into and out of the city. By blurring the edges, the composition embodies the idea that Rome’s visual heritage is not confined to a single place but continuously shaped by external influences.
