Poster Design for the Conference Radical Turn: Subversions, Conversions, and Mutations in the Post-Classical World (3rd–8th c.) held in Brno at Masaryk University, Faculty of Arts in October 2021.

This conference explored the transformations in visual culture between the 3rd and 8th centuries, focusing on the radical shifts that shaped the post-classical world.

To visually represent the theme of "radical turn," I reversed the direction of the letters in the title. While this shift creates an unexpected visual moment, it still allows for a calm and legible reading. This mirrors the study of history: the title can be understood in a straightforward manner, but subtle nuances—representing radical changes—are hidden in plain sight, accessible only to those who pay close attention.
