Pooch Parlor Logo Design

"Pooch Parlor was in need of a logo. It had the two “oo”s in Pooch as dog eyes for a very long time. They were looking for a change.
I looked at several different breeds of dogs to find something in the dog I could use to represent one of the tools for grooming.
I tried scissors for a Schnauzer but I couldn’t quite get it right.
I tried a short hair terrier. That didn’t work either.
I thought about which dog really needs to be groomed often. The Old English Sheepdog is definitely one breed that needs grooming! What do you do with all that long hair? Comb it!
Using the comb for the long hair over the eyes fit perfectly. It all came together. Keeping it simple was key." - Mary Kane
