Jump

As a recovering addict, I sometimes become paralyzed and hesitate to make the jump.

Whether it’s going to a meeting or just being completely honest with my support system, that hesitation can be the difference between life and death.

I’m one one hesitation away from using and overdosing. One hesitation away from never seeing my kids or wife again. In those split seconds, I have to jump or I may never get a chance to jump again.
