About the project:

The Game Store

I took on the challenge of designing a game store that would visually please users with its modern blue theme, infused with subtle 3D illustrations to create a fun and bubbly atmosphere. Carefully considering the user experience, I incorporated essential features that would enhance usability and provide a positive browsing experience.

To ensure easy navigation and discoverability, I implemented thoughtful categories for trending games, multi-player games, and single-player games. This allows users to quickly find games that suit their preferences and stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends. By organising the games into distinct categories, players can easily explore new titles and genres they might not have considered before.

Understanding the value of personalisation, I included a feature that allows users to favourite their preferred games, enabling quick and convenient access. This feature ensures that players can jump right into the action without wasting any time searching for their go-to games.

Recognising the importance of community engagement, I incorporated a rating system where players can provide their feedback and rate games on a scale of 1 to 5. This empowers the community to share their opinions and helps fellow gamers make informed decisions when choosing which games to try. Furthermore, I created a competitive leaderboard page that showcases the top-performing players in various games, igniting a sense of healthy competition and motivating players to improve their skills.

Having a good understanding of what makes games addictive, I integrated features that tap into players' motivations. From challenging gameplay and immersive worlds to leveling up and unlocking rewards, the game store encompasses elements that keep players engaged and coming back for more. By encouraging connections between users, whether through in-game interactions or social features, the store has a sense of community and encourages players to share their gaming experiences.
