Case

Founded by two sisters, Emma and Lena Moser, the studio has grown from gardening as a hobby to a space for plant lovers in the capital. Home Grown mission relies in love to nature and an authentic approach to plants, while vision — in changing the industry perception, making gardening a cool lifestyle.

Solution

The strategic and visual goal was to communicate the business’ essence to create a brand out of a product. The sisters’ gardening hobby is coming from their childhood — this is where the brand name idea originated. Home Grown means «from home», from when we were kids. The rhymes in the brand’s name and phrases “Be green, do green”, “New in, come in” reflect two sisters – two brand founders. The logo itself is cut in half for a reason — we don’t see the roots of plants, do we? The dynamic nature of plants got supported by simple animations in all applications. Green color conveys an authentic approach, while pink hue goes beyond and adds a cool feel. The overall minimalist style with bold typography makes up an authentic long-lasting outcome that will be working for brand awareness.
