Enhancing the Reddit Experience

Hey, Dribbble fam! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm excited to share a UX research project I recently conducted, focusing on enhancing the Reddit experience. In this project, I explored ways to improve user engagement and navigation within the app.

One of the key areas I focused on was the menu bar. After gathering user feedback and conducting usability tests, I identified an opportunity to streamline the navigation and provide users with more control over their content.

In the redesigned menu bar, I made three significant additions:

  1. History: I introduced a "History" feature that allows users to track their navigation history throughout the app. Now, users can easily revisit previously visited posts, subreddits, or discussions without the hassle of searching or scrolling through their feed.

  2. Library: Another addition to the menu bar is the "Library" feature. This feature enables users to save posts they've liked, bookmark interesting subreddits, or store valuable discussions for later reference. It's a personalized space where users can curate their Reddit experience.

  3. Sidebar Navigation: Additionally, I implemented a sidebar navigation menu to provide quick access to different sections of the app. Users can effortlessly explore their favorite subreddits, discover trending topics, and access their profile and settings.

The goal behind these changes is to empower users with more control, enabling them to seamlessly navigate through Reddit and easily access content they find valuable or wish to revisit.

I'm thrilled to share this with you Guys. As always, I welcome your feedback and thoughts on this project. Let's spark a conversation in the comments below! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ
