Project description

VibeIT is a music streaming platform that is designed using quantitative research and User-Centred Design Principles. The platform prioritizes user requirements and a pleasant user experience. By analysing user reviews, features that users appreciate have been implemented. UCD ensures personal biases are ignored, and designs are solely based on user information. Elements like Visibility, Accessibility, Legibility, and Language were studied and implemented. Personas mimicking users' characteristics and real-world problems were created to avoid incorrect solutions. Hierarchical Task Analysis (HTA) guided effective UX design implementation. Low-fidelity (lo-fi) prototyping using traditional methods and Wizard of Oz (WoZ) testing were performed. User evaluation followed, leading to high-fidelity (hi-fi) development with Adobe XD and Figma. Guerrilla usability testing recorded user responses. The project demonstrates proficiency in UCD, Human-Computer Interactions, and design principles.
