Don’t cry

Hey everyone,

I am really excited to present you my illustration. It’s a representation of the urgent need to save our planet from the devastating effects of the climate changes. The girl which is the main character is representation of our planet Earth. Her hair tells the story: melting ice caps and sea-level rise, fierce fires. To emphasise the destruction caused by deforestation, she has tattoos of burning trees. The Earth is in pain, she is crying, her tears are made from lava. The hand of the universe reaches out to her, gently touching her face and says “You are not alone, please, don’t cry”. Behind the Earth there are the moon and the sun, symbols of the constant battle between good and bad, the choices we face every day.

I hope my illustration will inspire you to take action, raise awareness and come together to safeguard our beautiful Earth.
